Context
ReceiptShed wanted a simple and easy-to-use app to help freelancers and small businesses manage their finances on the go.
Challenge
Our main challenge when designing the UX and UI for this app was making it easy to use for a wide range of users in a variety of different situations. For example, a trader could be using this on the go, so adding receipts had to be a simple tap of a button.
We started by looking at the type of customers who the app was aimed at, then created wireframes based on these personas.
From there we started designing the app in Sketch and created a simple prototype on InVision.
Result
The end result was an app that allowed small businesses and sole traders to manage invoices, record payments and check-in to jobs on a map.
